The Purple Mile Walk happens Friday, October 3 at 9 AM on the Lawrence County Courthouse Square in Moulton. Hosted by Safeplace, Inc., the walk raises awareness for domestic violence and honors survivors. Bring friends, family, and community spirit as we take steps together to support a vital cause. FUN IN TRINITY 🎶
Trinity Fest takes over downtown Trinity on Saturday, October 4 from 3–6 PM with free entry! Enjoy vendors, food trucks, live music, and even a doggy costume contest. The Trinity Fire Department will host an open house, and there’s a pickleball tourney for some friendly competition. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun and community!

Courtland’s Annual Antique & Classic Car Show is rolling back into town on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM at 271 Alabama St., Courtland, AL.

This open show is all about fun—no judging, no trophies—just a celebration of classic rides, community, and good times. Registration is $20 per vehicle (with additional cars just $10 each), and you’ll want to stick around for $4,000 in prizes, hourly cash drawings from 10 AM to 1 PM, and the grand prize: a set of wheels from Minor Tire!

The event also features a swap meet, slaw dogs, a 50/50 pot, and a wipe-out board game for $5 a square. Cruise into the square, enjoy the sights, grab a bite, and take part in the excitement.

Chris Burbank and Jake Reed are teaming up to bring a new dining experience to Lawrence County. Many will remember Jake from his years at Albany Bistro in Decatur (2009–2018), where community, food, and memories came together around the table.

Now, the duo is exploring the idea of opening a fresh, local, soulful restaurant right in the heart of Courtland, Alabama. As a first step, they’re inviting the community to a special farm-to-table dinner on October 23. The event will showcase fresh flavors, Southern hospitality, and give guests a look at the vision for what could be next.
